Synopsis

Vanessa has spent years building a business empire from the ground up, and just as many years paying for everyone around her. Her husband's debts, his relatives' shopping sprees, their luxury trips: all of it comes out of her pocket, and nobody ever says thank you.

This time she is looking forward to a family vacation she has paid for down to the last detail. Then, at the worst possible moment, she discovers that her husband has given her first-class ticket to his former girlfriend, as if Vanessa were the one who didn't belong.

That single gesture tears off the blindfold. She sees the marriage for what it is: a family living comfortably on her money while treating her like an outsider. Instead of crying, Vanessa does what she does best in business. She takes stock, cuts them off and starts recovering every asset, every favour and every dollar she poured into people who never valued her. The ones who thought she would always pay are about to learn what she was really worth.

Why watch it

  • A heroine who answers betrayal with strategy instead of tears.
  • The satisfaction of watching freeloaders lose everything they took for granted.
  • A sharp look at what happens when generosity is mistaken for weakness.
